  1. Everyone I talk to always tell me that Dubai is the thing but they never speak about the whole UAE. And I didn’t know that could hike in tDubai! This is so dope! A,d yes everyone talks about the Sheikh Zayed Mosque to visit as well. But what are the things to do in Sharjah? It seems to me that this part of the UAE is generally forgotten from it. And I really want to go to the gold souk, I want to indulge and buy gold as soon as possible!

    • yeah there is a lot more to UAE than just the activities in dubai and AbuDhabi!

There is a lot you can do in Sharjah as well, firstly, speaking of gold, there’s a Gold Souq in Sharjah too that is definately worth a visit.

There’s beaches, Jet Skiing waterfront markets.

Al Noor Island- a luminous garden oasis with an exotic butterfly house, fusing art and nature just minutes from downtown Sharjah.

Sharjah Safari Park- It’s thelargest safari outside Africa: 50,000 animals, 100,000 African trees, lake cruises and guided 4×4 routes evoke the Serengeti in the UAE’s central desert

      and a lot more.

There’s honestly so many actvities in UAE i could writs a lot more blogs just abou them.

  2. The list of activities shared really showcases the incredible diversity of experiences the UAE offers, from cultural heritage to adrenaline-pumping adventures. I’m curious, though: how would you rank these activities for a first-time visitor with limited time? Also, do you think the modern attractions like skydiving and indoor skiing overshadow the more traditional experiences like visiting old souks or desert camping? It feels like there’s a delicate balance between appreciating the futuristic skyline and preserving the Emirati identity.

    • Hey Slavisa,

Yes, a lot of people don’t know the diversity of activities in UAE, most people thin of just Dubai and all the Glamour.

Well for a first time visitor with limited time, of course checking out the attractions like Burj Khalifa, IMG world, Etc. is important, but in terms of overshadowing activities and what to pick, it depends on your p-references as a person.

If you’re more into Adventure, go for skydiving and indoor skiing type of activities.

If you prefer a more relaxing vibe and experiencing culture , Souq’s and desert camping is the way to go! you could also mix & match, pick the activities at the top of your list, and do those firs, then if you have time get to the others.

What kind of activities do you generally prefer?
